Waterpark Rules
Roseland Waterpark is a family-oriented park. We are a smoke-free and alcohol-free facility. Coolers, personal food or drink, glass containers, and alcoholic beverages are not permitted in the park. Picnic tables are located outside of the park entrance to allow for personal food and coolers. Food and beverage may be purchased at the Roseland Café. Grilling and open fires are not permitted on park premises.
Visitors who create hazards for themselves or others or visitors who fail to abide by written or verbal instructions will be required to leave the premises. They will be denied access and privileges at Roseland Waterpark. In such case, no refund of purchase price for season pass or admission ticket will be made.
Children under the age of ten must be accompanied by a chaperone at all times. As a precaution against injury to yourself or another guest, running is not permitted in the waterpark. Pets are not permitted in the park and should not be left in vehicles.
Operating Hours
The 2009 operating season is tentatively scheduled to operate from June 20 th - September 7 th. The operating schedule is weather dependent and operating days and hours are subject to change without notice and may close early due to inclement weather. In the event of lightening, all visitors must exit the park and seek shelter in their vehicles. Returning guests may have their hand stamped upon exiting for re-entry after the storm passes.
Attractions
Height restrictions apply to various attractions. Visitors must be 48” tall to use the Cliff and Twister body flumes. Visitors under 48” tall must be accompanied with a chaperone to ride the Extreme Tube Slides. The Splash Factory is limited to children who are under 48” and are accompanied by an adult. Nonswimmers must stay behind the first black line representing the shallow end of the wavepool.
Tubes are provided within the park, and personal flotation devices are not permitted.
Complimentary life vests are available on a first-come, first-serve basis for guests’ use within the park. Personal life vests may be used provided they meet coast guard standards and have been inspected and approved by one of the waterpark’s head lifeguards.
Swim diapers must be worn by children who are not toilet-trained.
Cut-off jeans or bathing suits with rivets or sharp edges are not permitted on any of the attractions. We strongly advise against wearing jewelry or other valuables on the rides. Jewelry, glasses, and hats must be removed before using the body flumes.
Guests with open and seeping wounds are prohibited from using the attractions. Bandaids must be removed before using the attractions.
Personal Possessions
We recommend that personal belongings are secured during your visit. Lockers are available for rent on a first-come, first-serve basis and a locker rental may be purchased in the Gift Shop. A $5 key deposit will be refunded after the key is returned to the Gift Shop.
Forgotten and lost possessions are forwarded to the Admissions Office at the end of each day. Unclaimed possessions are discarded at the close of the operating season.
Daily Admissions
Admission tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable. The unauthorized resale of admission tickets or slide cards is prohibited on waterpark premises.
Spectators of all ages may purchase a walk-around ticket at the regular admission rate. Wristbands are issued and worn during the visit. At exit, all but $5.00 is refunded, in like manner, provided the wristband is returned dry and intact.
Season Products
Season passes and slide cards, along with their associated benefits or discounts, are valid during the 2009 summer operating season and will expire after the close of the current season. Season passes and slides cards are nonrefundable. Season passes are nontransferable, and the use of a season pass by a person other than the passholder is prohibited. Misuse of season passes will result in revocation of pass and waterpark privileges.
Children age 2 and younger qualify for a free season pass, with an adult purchase of an individual season pass, provided the child is two years old or younger at the time of the pass purchase.
Season passes are issued at the Admissions Office during regular business hours. Identification must be presented to receive the pass. Proof of age is required for grand passes and a children age 2 and younger passes.
Slide cards purchased pre-season are mailed to the address provided on the order form after June 1st. Slide cards purchased in-season are issued at the Admissions Office during regular business hours.
Season passes and slide cards must be presented at the Admissions Office when entering the waterpark.
If a season pass is forgotten, a full-rate admission ticket must be purchased. Complimentary admission tickets are not issued.
A lost season pass must be reported immediately to the Admissions Office. Replacement cost is $10. |
